We had complete freedom to design our portfolio and to select our "artifacts". Here is a cut and paste of the general guidance we received at the beginning:

"You will be producing a professional portfolio. Depending on your current position and your goals, you may emphasize classroom teaching, or media development, or some other area, but you should always be thinking about how your portfolio will represent you as a professional person with an instructional design degree."
